Whether you’re in search of bass, trout, pike, perch, walleye, or giant muskie, your fish are patiently awaiting your arrival in Nevis. We’ve listed a few of our favorite lakes below.
Belle Taine Lake
Belle Taine Lake is one of the larger lakes in the area. It has an area of almost 1,500 acres, a maximum depth of 56 feet, and a shoreline of 24 miles. Belle Taine Lake is also a great place to fish. You’ll find largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, northern pike, walleye, and yellow perch.
Sixth Crow Wing Lake
Sixth Crow Wing Lake covers around 340 acres, has a maximum depth of 40 feet, and has a shoreline of almost 4 miles. At Sixth Crow Wing Lake, you can fish for a variety of species, including largemouth bass, northern pike, yellow perch, rock bass, bluegill, walleye, and pumpkinseed.
Ninth Crow Wing Lake
Ninth Crow Wing Lake has a surface area of 227 acres and a maximum depth of 65 feet. Here, you can expect to find smallmouth bass, black bullhead, largemouth bass, walleye, bluegill, northern pike, rock bass, and yellow perch. Note that there is no direct public access to the lake; however, you can get there by boat from Eighth Crow Wing Lake or Tenth Crow Wing Lake.
Two Inlets Lake
Two Inlets Lake is 578 acres in size. Its maximum depth is 60 feet, and it has a little over 7 miles of shoreline. You can find a variety of fish here including bluegill, black bullhead, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, yellow perch, and rock bass.
Fifth Crow Wing Lake
Fifth Crow Wing Lake is a 400-acre lake, with a maximum depth of 35 feet, and a 4.3-miles shoreline. This lake typically has brown trout, walleye, largemouth bass, rock bass, yellow perch, bowfin, and bluegill.
Tenth Crow Wing Lake
Tenth Crow Wing Lake is a relatively small lake, about 175 acres in size. It has a maximum depth of 40 feet and a 3.3-mile shoreline. It’s a good place to fish for green sunfish, walleye, largemouth bass, northern pike, yellow perch, and bowfin.
Seventh Crow Wing Lake
Seventh Crow Wing Lake is a 260-acre lake, with a maximum depth of 42 feet and a 3.3-mile shoreline. Seventh Crow Wing Lake is a good place to fish for bluegill, green sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, yellow perch, and black bullhead.
Eighth Crow Wing Lake
Eighth Crow Wing Lake is a 500-acre lake, with a maximum depth of 30 feet and almost 5 miles of shoreline. Typically, you can have luck fishing for black bullhead, bluegill, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, yellow perch, and green sunfish.
Boulder Lake
Boulder Lake (Boulder Lake Reservoir) is around 3,800 acres in size and has a maximum depth of 18 feet. Your best bet when fishing at Boulder Lake is to go for northern pike, walleye, and bluegill.
